I’ve not done volume for at lest 3 yrs and I got the biggest but not in every BP b/c my trainer was a Strongman Conpetitor - 315lb dead’s for 30 reps x 5 then stiffs at 225 paused for 10 I gen dead’s on a bumper plate for 20reps at 275-315 negatives 10 count down and right up I think it was the best conditioned I’ve been at 218 and 10% hard as hell he split up posterior chain and quads per leg routine so 2x wkly we were puking no doubt
