You just missed a contest yesterday in SD. There is usually one every other month in SD and every other month in LA..
You said SoCal so I am assuming LA.

Been looking into parental methylcobalamin. Potent stuff but cannot find any here, oral methylB12 doesn't work as good, despite being so much better absorbed vs cyano-B12, it undergoes dealkylation and gets only later converted back to methyl-B12, hence you can't unlock full benefits from the active B12 molecule unless injected.

Might grab some powder though, and sterilize/purify by means of filtration...

After looking into proteins that help dissolve blood clots, I read that nac csn help your body synthesize protein!!!! Its good to take for other reasons too

I'm on the border of LA and OC. Is the LA one in Culver City? Just curious bc I went to see a friend of a friend compete there a couple years ago. Also, my roller derby league used to play all our home games at the same venue, so it feels like home to me
As for competing, if I do it wouldn't be until spring. Wanna be well prepared. Although I've had buddies say first competition is basically just a great learning experience, and to get it done with the sooner the better as it will inform future training, etc.
I'll decide one way or another by September

When are you competing again, Charger?

I drink lots of tea on these days

I eat as much carbs as i can stomach with lots of protein on high days. I enjoy myself with lots of tomato sauce and stuff on food.
    Hey man,

how comes you do low and high days and how many high days do you do?

    Sup all..

Good weekend.. Back yesterday, on chest today.

Very happy with progress and the way things are heading at the moment.. had a big blow out Saturday night it was great, i seem to binge on i guess clean ish foods.. dont eat burgers and pizza and stuff i'm more of a carb/sugar person! I ate two large bowls of cereal, it was a mix of crunchy nut and coco pops with soy milk, 7 oreos, 4 jaffa cakes, 2 wagon wheels and 4 crumpets with jam... I'm a bit of a carboholic, which is good because my body melts carbs. Anyway that will satisfy me from another 2 weeks! Was pretty full from this but didnt change anything weight wise..

Back to normal since yesterday food wise...

Tonight chest will be like this:

    175-200 calorie CV.

    Push Ups
    Various angles of chest flys
    flat press
    incline press
    chest press

Feeling great this Monday morning. Was off the grid Friday and Saturday ... generator power, no running water and an out side shitter (2 holer out house). Did abs and core Sunday and have legs this afternoon. I did have a few drinks over the weekend but ate pretty clean other than that. Friday night was Salmon, wild rice and asparagus ... always do the Friday night fish tradition! What are some traditions for other regions? I think what started the Friday fish is because of no red meat on Friday during lent. So people would go out for a fish fry.

Lot of heart palpitations here, guess from the T4, but nothing concerning. Chest tonight.

Keeping it basic - two movements incline two flat, either cables or db flies, db incline, machine chest press; warm up then 1-2 sets to failure if my body allows. No tris or I'll be skipping shoulder press again this week.

Cool. My daughter was born in Mission Viejo and we lived there. Stayed there for a year before we moved to Germany! Fun to see where people are from! Best part, worked in San Juan Capistrano so it was a reverse commute every day!

my theory on it is that you trick your body into thinking its starving for 4 days by lowering carbs and calories then blast it with a very high carb and calorie day to stop the body adjusting and slowing my metabolism and holding on to fat cells.

i started off doing 2 no carb days but marcus advised to have some carbs so i changed to 4 low days instead. seems to be working so far

Cool chest didn't go as planned and didn't hit serious failure but nothing too bad either, and had some fun.

Vertical chest press machine felt plain wrong just like seated shoulder press I tried last week. Then noticed another chest machine, not sure the name, selectorized and features a parallel grip over levers running towards feet, that's definitely my thing, squeezes my chest for good.

Also tried cables, low to high it's definitely a killer movement. Had the usual chest flies and some incline presses.

Looked vascular, pumped and better than anyone else at the gym, not many ppl around after 21pm so lot of free space for me.

Next come my fav - back day

    Must be nice!
I want some nice suits bad but I know when I get one I will just bust out and be out money I dont have to spare. Muscular guys look good in suits I don't mean that in a gay way.
Sjinny guy in a suit or a fat one is just another office worker. A bodybuilder is automatically a special agent or the guy the mobsters call when Jimmy was late on his debt for the last time.

I guess I wouldn't like it if it was an every day thing. I just like dressing up and eating places I can't afford etc..
My poor gf has no desire to dress up so I will have to make her upon occasion.

Not Gay unless you are making your glutes hard for a penis.

I used that machine to finish after lunges and that thing will burn your ass like nothing else.

I use the assisted dip/pull up machine to work glutes, the one that you put your knees on a pad that goes up and down with you. I put my foot on the pad and push it down

Between squats, dead, hip adductor, lunges, and that stride/lunge thing your ass should be able to deflect any attacker.

I just find it hard to activate glutes, they somewhat underfire and my squat performance suffers as a result, that's why I was looking for something targeted. I get much more butt activation with deads, but favoured squats over them since comp start. Was even thinking to split legs in two days one squats one deads, I miss the latter too much.
