androgens can offset estrogen side effects . before getting on this cycle perhaps you had low androgen levels with high estrogen levels (this happens quite often when coming off cycle) . now that you have a high level of exogenous androgens coming in your estrogen sides are somewhat mitigated.
in fact some guys will even run Halotestin if gyno symptoms come up. not that halo blocks estrogen at all really , its just so damn androgenic (1000x more then test) that the high androgen load mitigates estrogen sides.
however I'd be running Nolva either way if you have gyno concerns. its only a matter of time before E levels start getting higher and higher
