Injection site question?

My quad is still sore from Saturday's injection. How long does pip last in the quads? My first 5 pins were in right glute and not a single pip at all.

I also do the pocket area and I have yet to experience even the slightest bit of PIP there

Not really. When I bother doing it, I bump it back just enough to create a vacuum. You can feel the plunger pulling back against you.

Not at the moment, but I spent time looking at the nerve pathways through the leg so if you look at a few images of that, you'll get a good idea of that pocket area I'm talking about.

I pinned there yesterday and on my first two attempts, I felt a little more "zing" than usual as soon as I started breaking skin and I just had that guy feeling a nerve was near by. I found a spot that didn't do that but it was close by and now I have a bit of PIP, but nothing horrible.

But question, is there a thing as pinning to high on the quad; and by high, I mean pinning on the side, but towards the hip or closer to the VG? I ask, because everything I say on YT about quad injections, says to pin at least 1 hand width down from groin the on the side or upper outter?

If you go too high, you’re likely to stick it in hip flexors, and you’re really not gonna like how that feels.

I was honestly probably cutting it pretty close.

Oddly enough, my last 2 quad pins resulted in PIP that last 1-2 days. In one case, I had a slight limp. Hoping the lady I was on a first date with didn't notice. But I got a second date so it's all good. Dick was also hard the whole time. God I love test and cialis
