I'm surprised he didn't suggest a PRP shot.

I live in one of the smallest countries on the planet, maybe PRP hasn't made it here. I went for physio today, he read the reports and said it means it's 75% torn and proper lucky that it didn't fully rip. He gave me 50/50 chance that physio can teach my body to use other muscles and therefore skip surgery, as long as I give up lifting heavy with most shoulder exercises. If I want to lift heavy again, surgery is the only option. For me this is just a hobby, life goes on without heavy lifting. We'll see how it goes after the initial 2 weeks.

Damn, sorry to hear it's to that extent. My ortho would recommend immediate surgery at that point.
