    I did it in the mirror before with a 1ml syringe, but with the current 3ml syringes I use, I couldn't apply enough force with the way I was standing. I had to press with the side of my finger, and I couldn't get relaxed enough, so the needle had a hard time going in.

    I almost never get to use my actual thumb to push. It's always the side of a finger or heel of my hand. Normal.

    This is what I was thinking. Almost all of my injections end up being index finger on the plunger with the others on the barrel at the flange.

    I’ve had to hold the barrel and push the plunger against a wall before. That sucks.

    I’ve heard a bunch of similar stories from old school powerlifters. Dudes were fat as hell, and ended up having to back into refrigerators and shit for a bunch of sites that they couldn’t really reach.
