Pretty much. That’s the weird divisiveness that leans in odd directions from either side. One screams “change this shit” while the other “leave if you don’t like it”, and on principle, I’d always find myself leaning toward the former.
Abandoning ship should always be a last resort, when things are irrevocably fucked (think Soviet Union, starving millions, etc.). “Just leave” in response to the relatively trivial shit we’re facing now is childish at best, and smacks of wanton cruelty to the tune of “shut up and know your place” at worst.
