RIP Ric Drasin.
For those of you who don't know, Ric Drasin passed away yesterday at the age of 76. He was a "Golden Era" bodybuilder, alongside Arnold, Franco, etc. back in the Venice beach days at Gold's. He actually drew the Gold's Gym logo; he was also an artist.
He's worked in professional wrestling, and has been on many TV shows, movies, & commercials. He also had a Youtube podcast channel where he would invite & interview all types of fitness people, including the late Rich Piana. He even had Franco Columbo on shortly before Franco passed.
I've watched his channel since the early 2010's, and I've discovered many bodybuilding personalities through him, including Rich Piana. Ric actually wrote the eulogy for Rich's funeral and was good friends with Rich and was deeply hurt by his passing, having worked together on many occasions. Now, almost exactly 3 years later, we have also lost Ric. The man exuded positivity, until his dying day. He was born with 1 kidney but defied his condition and lived a full life, and was a beast for most of it. I will miss him, and I hope you guys that don't know him get to watch his channel and see what a great guy we've lost. RIP Ric.
