In summary, yes, the television "news" agencies do show bias, every one of them do, including the "Fair and Balanced" one. They all play to their ratings which they have to maintain for 24 hours a day. There is not 24 hours of news in a day and most American's are not interested in the price of tea in china. While certainly, CNN does this too, the two "news" networks on the periphery, Fox and MSNBC, must go a little further to maintain their niche audiences. This includes omitting parts of the news and telling other news from a point of view. It isn't a conspiracy, it's entertainment.

* Being a member of an extremist group for an extended period of time
* Deep commitment to an extremist ideology
* Psychological issues
* Unemployment or sporadic work history
* Less educated
* Low socio-economic status

* Trouble in romantic or platonic relationships
* Abused as an adult
* Alienated from one’s family

Missing from Smith’s list (although implied in many of the factors) is the feeling of being a victim, a prevalent theme in today’s culture of intersectionality and identity politics...


... A report by the Arab Center Washington DC titled, “Understanding Violent Extremism: The Social Psychology of Identity and Group Dynamics” explored why people join ISIS and other jihadi groups. It concluded that while “individuals choose to join for a number of different reasons, including alienation, oppression, ideologies, or adventure … the most consistent findings in academic and field research show that injustice and discrimination against minority groups are the primary motivators [of violent extremism].”

Further, the report noted:

“The … group process that facilitates violent extremism is the view of evil as virtue, where violent extremists really believe that their actions are righteous. This occurs when the out-group is perceived as a threat to the in-group … Once the out-group has been established as a threat, it is automatically dehumanized and its destruction becomes a virtuous act of self-defense.”

The same group dynamics explains why very different groups of people are coming together at this time in American history.

While most Americans don’t believe they’re above the law (yet), the increased support for Antifa — despite the violence being perpetrated — shows that extremist groups no longer belong to a fringe population. This means we can expect to see escalated violence in the months to come.

To understand Black Lives Matter, it is necessary to distinguish between the organization by that name and the general movement operating under the same banner. Three Marxist lesbians formed the Organization following the Trayvon Martin case in 2014. Their goal is abolition of Judeo-Christian based Western society and violent over throw of all its institutions. In addition, they contend the white race is attempting to exterminate the black race with police their instrument of execution. I plan a future expose on them but for now, my focus is on the broader Black Lives Matter Movement (BLMM)...

Therefore, “no fact finding mission is necessary”. Whites must accept total blame and responsibility for all problems in black communities without question or equivocation. Because whites are guilty, what is there to argue about? Any study or investigation into the root causes of black societal problems, whose starting point does not begin with presumption of white guilt and responsibility, is racist and invalid. Discussions of racial issues by whites must begin with their confession of guilt and blame. Pointing to studies revealing fatherless homes play a role in black crime, Baltimore’s riots for example, is a non-starter because it does not begin with the presumption white racism is always the cause. The white race must also purge its collective guilt. Part of that process is to dismantle all institutions, symbols, and vestiges of racism and slavery. Purging must include culture, holidays, language, historical documents, statues, and so forth...


... BLMM is a political movement. All black lives, especially those gunned down by other blacks and those killed by abortionists, do not matter to them, only those serving as expedient political props. BLMM’s insistence whites accept total blame and responsibility for all pathologies in the black community while refusing to acknowledge any responsibility on their part, sets up an impasse impossible to resolve. Whites cannot accept blame for racism and police brutality that is not occurring and nothing will ever change if those who are to blame for what is happening in black communities refuse to accept responsibility.

Do all black lives matter? Do black lives matter? Do family member’s lives matter to each other? Of course they do. Black folks have been part of America since the beginning. They are as much American as anyone. Yeah, but as slaves. Mechal Sobel, professor of history at the University of Haifa, Israel, argues regardless of condition of servitude, a natural result of blacks and whites interacting together was that blacks influenced and shaped white culture as much as the reverse. From architecture, food, lifestyles, and cultural values, blacks shaped what people perceive as “white” culture to the point they are inseparable. If so, that means, regardless of race, we are all family. A family that attends separate churches obviously has many problems to say the least. Nevertheless, being members of the same family is a much better starting point for understanding and reconciliation than the alternatives.

Rational analysts — that is, admittedly a small and vanishing group — agree: the Black Lives Matter narrative about “systemic racism” in the United States is completely contrary to reality. It is propaganda constructed in order to exacerbate racial division and has about as much truth to it as the Nazis’ narrative about how Jews conspired to sabotage Germany’s World War I war effort. America is actually the least racist society on earth, one of the only countries ever to have elected a member of a formerly despised minority to its highest office, and a nation that fought a bloody civil war and labored for a century thereafter to secure equality of rights for all. So why is there so much racial tension?..


... What no one expected in 1964 was that the Civil Rights Act would herald not the end of racial tensions in the United States, but their aggravation. As a result in large part of the act, segregation ended in the South and equality of opportunity was virtually assured, with stiff penalties for those who denied it. Yet even as actual racism was becoming unusual, civil rights activists began to insist that racism was so deeply embedded in the psyche of the nation that had done more than any other to eradicate it that much more legislation was required, including measures giving not just equality of opportunity, but equality of outcome, which would require special boosts and privileges to minorities. This all but guaranteed that racial friction would remain a feature of the American landscape.

Meanwhile, Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society and War on Poverty replaced segregation in the South with nationwide programs that were even worse for the poor, as they took away incentives to work and created a permanently unemployed underclass in which an ever-larger group of people essentially became wards of the state.

That may have been the idea all along. The famously coarse Johnson is said to have boasted about the Civil Rights Act of 1964: “I’ll have those n—-rs voting Democratic for two hundred years.” Between that act and the War on Poverty, he certainly did create a bloc of black Americans who could be counted on to vote Democratic – at least until the advent of Donald Trump. Whether or not those votes were in the best interests of those who cast them was highly debatable, but no one dared debate it.

Then came Barack Obama. Throughout his tenure, Obama stoked racial tensions rather than calming them. When he took office, the Justice Department was pursuing a case against the New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation in Philadelphia. Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder, abruptly dropped the case in May 2009 and refused to cooperate with further investigations, giving the impression that the Black Panthers were getting away with voter intimidation because of their race.

Obama’s response to several widely publicized incidents also exacerbated racial tensions. On July 16, 2009, black intellectual Henry Louis Gates found himself locked out of his Massachusetts home and began trying to force his way in. An officer arrived to investigate a possible break-in; Gates began berating him and was arrested for disorderly conduct. Obama claimed that the police “acted stupidly” and noted the “long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by police disproportionately,” although there was no indication of racial bias in the case. He invited Gates and the police officer to the White House for a “beer summit,” which the media hailed as a manifestation of his determination to heal racial divisions, when in fact it was just the opposite: he was taking a case of misunderstanding and disorderly conduct and portraying it as a racial incident requiring presidential reconciliation.

Obama also made matters worse when a young Hispanic, George Zimmerman, on February 26, 2012, shot dead a young black man, Trayvon Martin, in what was widely reported as a racial hate crime. NBC edited a recording of Zimmerman’s call to the police to give the false impression that Zimmerman was suspicious of Martin solely because he was black. Instead of trying to calm the situation, Obama stoked the idea that Zimmerman acted out of racial hatred and said, “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.” Yet Zimmerman was acquitted of murder and the Justice Department declined to prosecute him for a hate crime.

As Rating America’s Presidents shows, it is two Democratic presidents, Lyndon Johnson and Barack Obama, who are primarily responsible for the high racial tension in the country today. Those who are hailed as the healers of racism actually made the condition of the patient much worse than it would have been otherwise.

Republicans know that America is real, while Democrats see it as a subjective idea

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

The 2020 Democratic Party Platform starts with these four words, “America is an idea.”

And therein lies the problem. These first few words set the context for everything wrong in the 80 pages that follow.

The words “America is an idea” shine a spotlight on the radical difference between our nation’s two dominant political parties. They highlight the primary distinction between the progressive and the conservative agenda. When you cut through all the smoke and mirrors, all the pandering, all the false promises and all the fake people, this one simple phrase from the Democratic platform summarizes it all.

Now, at first blush, you might say, “What’s wrong with that? What’s wrong with “America is an idea?”

Here’s the problem. It is not.

Since its founding, our country has been much more than just an abstract thought or feeling. No, our nation has never been a mere emotion or desire. America is not just “an idea.” America is real.

America is a real country with a real Declaration, a real Constitution, real values and real precepts.

This is a real nation, with real citizens, real borders and real laws. We are a real people with real rights and real responsibilities.

We believe that life is real and that all human beings should have real liberty and real happiness.

We stand for real justice. We believe in real morality. We have witnessed real virtue and real sin.

We don’t ignore our real enemies or pretend there are no real threats.

We have a real Army, a real Navy, a real Air Force, a real Marines and a real Coast Guard, for a real reason.

We believe in real economics, real money, real history, real science and real truth.

We know there is a real God, and that removing Him from our real pledge has real consequences.

In a nutshell, conservatives know that America is an objective reality, while Democrats just told us they believe our country is little more than a subjective “idea,” their idea.

About 300 years ago, Edmund Burke wrote, “We are on the verge of Darkness. One push drives us in.” He was referring to the rise of the Jacobins in France and their elevation of abstract ideas over reality.

Burke saw the dangers of replacing the facts of human experience with the subjective theories of enlightenment arrogance. He knew that history — real history — had proven over and over again that when any people rise up and kill their traditions, that tyranny stands in the wings all too willing to rush in to fill the vacuum.

Burke predicted the rise of the “rule of the gang” and the butchery of the guillotine. He warned that the fluid “ideas” of Diderot and Rousseau would result in blood flowing in the streets.

Burke stood with Aristotle before him, and Chesterton and Voegelin to follow, in declaring that politics must be rooted in the firmness of natural law and the self-evident truths that are endowed to us by our Creator. He knew that the worst error progressives make is uprooting and destroying the old realities in their lust for their new ideas.

Burke warned of “radicals” and their “ideas;” people who believed that they were the smart ones and the intelligent few. He called these pretenders, “The leaders of the legislative clubs and coffee houses [who are] intoxicated with admiration at their own wisdom …”

Burke foresaw things such as the defunding of the police, the destruction of private businesses, the desecration of statues and the defamation of the church. He called this the “black and savage atrocity of mind.”

He warned that those who discredit all who have come before them, who retell history and paint a nation’s patriarchs as the source of all evil, are, in fact, the evil ones. He repeatedly said that tradition is something to honor, respect and preserve, not an obstacle to be removed.

In essence, Burke was a prophet. He warned of a time to come when feelings would trump facts and freedom would be sacrificed on the altar of feelings. He shouted out to his generation to never let any revolution claim to be about a malleable “idea” rather than an immutable reality and thankfully Jefferson, Washington, Franklin and Adams listened.

By the way, Burke also quoted Cicero, who said, “Tell me, how did you lose a republic as great as yours so quickly?”

If we buy the Democratic Party line that America is simply a progressive “idea” rather than a nation with enduring and objective definition, this is a question our children and grandchildren might be asking us for years to come.

No, America is just not an “idea.” America is much more. America is real.

Anti-police protesters arrested carrying guns in Portland

Police in Portland, Oregon, said Monday they arrested two protesters carrying guns Sunday night amid an unruly demonstration outside a county office building that houses the sheriff’s department.

Police said they made 29 total arrests, finding knives and an expandable baton on some of the others they took into custody. Officers also found homemade spike strips designed to puncture tires. They were made out of nails stuck into foam noodles, a type of swimming pool toy.

Officers also said the demonstrators, who for months have shown up with gas masks and body armor to go toe to toe with police, have now taken to wearing reflective squares in order to shine police lights back at officers.

The Media is Brainwashing You to Accept a Stolen Election

Axios took the lead in the ongoing campaign to brainwash the U.S. public into accepting a stolen election this November. This coordinated campaign between the communist Democrat Party and the corrupt news media has been ongoing for several months now, and it becomes increasingly transparent over time.

On Tuesday, Axios ran a story quoting a representative of the Bloomberg-funded Democrat firm called Hawkfish, laying out the scenario the Democrat/Media Axis of Propaganda is attempting to set up for the November Elections. The scenario envisions a socially explosive situation created by the Democrats. The first part of it involves President Trump holding a huge lead in both the popular vote and the Electoral College when we all trudge off to bed on Election Night. But that lead won’t hold as Democrat vote counters in Blue and Red states around the country “find” boxes and boxes filled with “mail-in ballots” that magically contain the number of votes Biden needs to overtake Trump’s Election Day lead...

... So, here we see Axios, via this Democrat front group, attempting to normalize the literal destruction of the American election process as we have always known it. The destruction of America’s legitimate election process has long been a goal of the Democrat Party, and it obviously believes this is the year it will be able to consolidate the plan, using fear over the China virus as the catalyst.

The key to the Democrat/media plan is the destruction of the expectation of having the votes counted on Election Day, as has always been the tradition in the United States, or at least had been the tradition until 2000, when the Democrat effort to steal the presidency in Florida resulted in two months of uncertainty over the outcome.

It is a fact that no Democrat presidential candidate has conceded an election on Election Day since 1988. Think about that: that is 8 election cycles ago. If that is not an aggressive effort to de-legitimize the democratic process, what is?

Now, there is no legitimate reason why every mail-in ballot should not be in and counted within 3 days of Election Day, yet we see Democrat governors all over the country arbitrarily extending the envisioned time frame to as much as a full month. Why should that be needed? If the ballot is properly postmarked by Election Day, shouldn’t the U.S. postal service be able to deliver it within just 2 days? If not, why not? It’s not like they have anything else to deal with other than junk mail these days.

Obviously, the effort to extend the vote-counting period for as long as possible is so that Democrat officials in places like Broward and Palm Beach Counties in Florida, in Detroit, in Philadelphia, in Columbus, Ohio and other key Democrat-controlled counties and cities in swing states have as much time as possible to keep “finding” additional boxes of ballots until they’re able to get their addled candidate over the finish line.

Try to imagine the level of unrest that will exist in this country as these Democrat efforts to steal the election are taking place. If you want to create conditions for a real, shooting civil war in America – as the Democrats have obviously been working towards this summer – it is hard to imagine a more perfect scenario than such a blatant attempt to steal the presidency.

But make no mistake about it: This is the goal of the Democrat party. They’re not really even trying to hide it anymore.

The protests that sprang up in the wake of George Floyd’s killing in Minneapolis seemed like spontaneous outpourings of grief and anger. They weren’t entirely. Though many who joined their ranks may have been moved by outrage at the images of Floyd’s death, those operating behind the scenes have prepared for this moment for a long time.

Indeed, the leaders of the Black Lives Matter organizations fueling this summer’s disturbances were trained by self-described Marxist revolutionaries who have long used the plight of black Americans as justification for overthrowing America’s constitutional order. They frankly admit that such “organizing” is the key to their goal of world revolution. Our political leaders owe it to themselves and to their fellow Americans to understand this blueprint before rhetorically embracing, let alone implementing, the radical changes that the protesters and rioters are demanding.

The goal of upending the American system is, moreover, also evident among the consultants now conducting “anti-racism training” within major corporations and foundations. These facilitators of anti-white struggle sessions disdain the capitalist system and seek its replacement—and the mainstream media cheers them on. In a July New York Times article on the BLM movement, Douglas McAdams, professor emeritus at Stanford, wrote: “It looks, for all the world, like these protests are achieving what very few do: setting in motion a period of significant, sustained, and widespread social, political change. We appear to be experiencing a social change tipping point—that is as rare in society as it is potentially consequential.”

But who initiated this demand for change? After the initial protests following Floyd’s death, public outrage was channeled—by trained activists working from a playbook—into manifestations that often grew riotous. The Black Lives Matters Global Network and Movement for Black Lives organizations have been the nerve center of the protests. They have been laying the groundwork for years, carefully cultivating a network of groups that could organize protests when the moment came and amplify the message through social media...

... Up to now, the American system has resisted socialism by offering prosperity and opportunity. Our politicians today need to understand what they’re facing from the BLM movement and what is at stake. The “white settler state” of Eric Mann’s fevered mind is in reality the American constitutional order. The imperialism that Mann, Rosenberg, DiAngelo, and others imagine is the American free-market system that has been the most successful weapon against poverty ever devised. Political leaders of either party feeling pressured to adopt BLM policies or even just mouth the rhetoric should spend some time examining the movement’s intellectual sources—and its political goals.

NYC August 2020 Shootings More than Double August 2019

August 2020 shootings in Mayor Bill de Blasio’s (D) New York City were more than double the number witnessed in August 2019.

NBC 4 reports there were 242 shootings in NYC in August 2020 versus 91 in August 2019.

Moreover, the number of murders in NYC in August 2020 was 53 versus 36 during August of last year.

The New York Times reports that since May 2020, NYC has seen “a more than 140 percent increase … [in shootings] over the same period in 2019.” And there were 180 murders between May and August, a “51 percent increase compared to 2019.”

On September 1, 2020, Breitbart News reported that de Blasio’s NYC had surpassed the grim milestone of 1,000 shootings for the year.

The New York Post reported NYPD data indicated there were 1,004 shootings in NYC as of August 30, 2020. There were 537 shootings by that same time in 2019.
