It's come to the point where you either side with conspiracy theories, lies, division, and corruption, or with civility, respect, inclusion, ethics, morals and truth. It's night and day for me, I don't know why anyone else struggles with this. I do not agree with everything left-leaning, but at this point in time, we either save democracy or leave it to a failed business man who was given a nice 300 million dollar gift from his dad, only to squander it through multiple bankruptcies, and to be bailed out by anonymous foreign groups/powers with ulterior motives for the direction of America and the world it resides in. Did you watch the first debate? Did you watch this one tonight? The guy you vote for thinks American soldiers are losers and suckers for serving their country. That's what's in his cold heart. You decide.

I got amped up from the debate, so I apologize if I insulted you or anyone else. Although I think you'd be making a mistake voting for Trump for many many reasons, I have to say from the little I know you, you seem like a smart guy and a good guy. My response was not directed at anyone here but Beetlegeuse constantly peddles far-right conspiracies and half-truths while insulting "the lefties" or "demoncrats." I don't even come on here much, but I was curious if anyone mentioned the debates and got sucked into responding. Every post Beet makes is inflammatory and most of it is skewed or flat out bs. Imagine I made a thread that constantly spread misinformation and attacked the right. This is what it is. This thread should be shut down, if not for anything but the spread of garbage non-truths and far-right propaganda.

Absolutely. Opposing opinions are a good thing. Unfortunately they have been vilified. Everyone cannot have the same opinion and you can’t force your opinion on others. If you can listen without interrupting or talking over the person you may learn something. Or have a civil debate on the issue. That is called a productive member of society.

That's why he doesn't want to do the debate remotely, because they can cut him off and he won't be able to interrupt Biden like he did before. I'm not sure what civil debate we can expect when our own president is the exact opposite of civil in a debate.

Like how Beetlegeuse mentions "Demoncrats" and "Hitlery?" Is that civil to you? More than half of this country is democratic. This is a public forum. We're all going to see what we post. I consider his rhetoric inflammatory and disrespectful. I don't have respect for anyone touting lies and BS as facts. Not going to apologize for that. Nothing good came out of this presidency, but all we hear about is how awful libs are... sure, I got it, fair and balanced.
