EXCLUSIVE: Why the ATF Targeted the Q Honey Badger (and Other Stuff)

We spoke with the former Acting Chief of the ATF's Firearms Technology Branch to find out why the ATF is quietly waging war on the Q Honey Badger.

In a nutshell, ... SURPRISE! ... it's politics. The ATF is festooned with swamp creatures. And they thought it would be a nice present to give President Biden to take a swipe and the legality of the pistol "brace," ergo the initial proclamation on the Honey Badger. Then somebody accidentally had a rational thought and came to the realization that if Biden doesn't win, with that decision they might be setting themselves up for a major post-election ass-whuppin'. So they gave the decision a 60-day stay of execution, giving them opportunity to rescind the original ruling if by some strange quirk of fate Trump keeps his job.
