That is awesome to hear. But I take it that's at your current 5mg dose? I'm using 1mg/day which is the recommended dosage for hairloss.

Essentially my doubt is that even 1mg reduces on average around 71% DHT conversion from an average 700 or 800 ng/DL testosterone level, and that only rises up to 72% from bumping fin up to 5mg, but what happens when the beginning testosterone level is 1500+?

Deca converting to dhn and not dht is the reason it's my favorite anabolic anymore since I have bph. But yes, agree with your assessment.
Correct, at a 5mg dose. Yes, it would be interesting to see its (fina's) effect on a much higher dose of test but I haven't gone over about 500 mgs since my diagnosis. I do know that when I tested my dht on 500 mgs test it was still below range. Fascinating and impressive.

That is very encouraging to hear - given that 1 and 5 mgs yield about the same rate of DHT inhibition. I also don't see myself going any higher than 750 test. In fact, I might even keep test at 500 and bump up the deca dose if and when I do run my blast.
If you don't mind answering, how long have you been diagnosed with BPH and how much improvement has Fin made concurrently with running test? I don't have BPH as far as I know, but I'm well into my 40s, and it would be good to know. And so far I've only been able to find these kinds of insights on this forum. All the other gear forums I've scanned have been filled with broscience.

Totally guessing here, maybe 5 years or so? I can remember back when my psa was always .04 - .05 or so. Then one time testing it came back at 1.2. This concerned me so I retested two weeks later and it was 2.0. A little higher a few more weeks later and so on. Initiated fina and that reduced my psa greatly. Now as I've aged more it's normally in the upper 2's.

I can remember after starting the fina and reducing my psa I thought I'd go without it for a month or so and retest. PSA shot up to 7.0. That confirmed my need for using it. In one thread here (not mine) a year or so ago I charted my dht out in conjunction with various test doses. I'll look and see if I can find it somehow as you'd find it interesting.

As you know a mans psa is born to rise as we age and there's little doubt in my mind that excess dht based anabolics play a part in it. I think its prudent for anyone getting older and still playing this game to keep that in the back of their mind.

I would totally appreciate that, Kelkel!

Also totally agree that controlling hormone levels and monitoring their effects becomes even more important with increasing age.
