The amount of test that converts to DHT is unique to the individual based on the amount of 5-AR in your body. Remember, there are two types of 5-AR as well, which is why there are two types of blockers available: Dutasteride which blocks both type 1 and 2 and Finasteride that blocks type 2.
I've not heard DHB being worse than test. DHB is not DHT yet it still can influence / effect the prostate.
My guess? It's simply aging. Years back after a longer cycle my psa elevated and remained elevated. As if it said F-U, I'm done. Finasteride then became my friend and cycles with DHT based AAS (other than var) have mostly ceased.
