    Knowing how much gear you should have on hand is kind of like knowing what porn is. You can't say exactly what enough is, but you'll know it when you see it.

    Usually it's around the point where if you got snagged with all your gear and your defense is "that's all for personal use," the judge, DA and jury all roll their eyes in unison.
