Well Hughinn,
Back to your original post, this pipeline is being built from Russia to Germany, right? So, now you want Biden to be president of the world? This pipeline isn't going through America. It's not his business.

I think you're making a good point there honky.
I can't argue against it.
But, I will digress, that Germany is also a member of the climate coalition, or whatever they call themselves.
And if s pipeline is too bad for the environment to be allowed to operate in america, to the point that it's worth putting thousands of american citizens out of work, then how is it not just as bad in europe?
And if the biden administration was truly against pipelines for the cause of saving the planet or whatever, then why allow this one to built at the benefit of a hostile foreign adversary, when it's arguably within his power to prevent it?
You've at least got to admit it's contradictory to his american policy regarding pipelines.
I guess, in my mind, if you're going to be against pipelines for environmental reasons, and feel they need to be shut down regardless of the pain and suffering it's cost american workers. Then why is it okay for this one to operate, at the cost of american industry?
This pipeline is sure to decrease or eliminate american has exports to germany, at the cost of texas gas producer's, and benefits russian ogliarchs.

I am in the pipeline business and guess where I am applying for a job! But Germany is part of NATO and so it is somewhat of our business. Russia has large oil deposits and if you remember they got into with Saudi Arabia and crashed the oil prices, thus affecting the US.
When it comes to pipelines I am 100% for new ones, and I get lost on how someone could not want newer ones. I give this example a lot. I go out and fix lines put in from the '40s, 50's, 60,s and 70's, so do you think technology is better now or back then? Do you think we are much better at taking care of the environment then or now? What about corrosion technology? So would you rather drive a 70's pinto or a new car that doesn't explode when you get hit from behind? Always support new pipelines!
What I meant by "it's not his business," was that Germany is outside his jurisdiction. And so that's the main reason he's not doing anything. I'm not even anti-drilling or anti-pipelining. I just understand his and his handler's position on the deal. They don't want to drill for oil and they want electric cars to be the thing (for whatever good or bad results that gives). Now as far as him not telling Merkel and Putin what to do goes, he doesn't have that power and he really shouldn't. I wouldn't want those turds telling America what to do either.
