Was doing my TRT shot yesterday (200 mgs per week/1 ML) and was at the end of my vial. Called the pharmacy and they stated I had two weeks left and they wouldn’t refill it without approval from my doc. Apparently I was a little careless in going past the 1 ML mark and also probably some loss from filling with a 18G harpoon.
So I text my doc, explain the situation and ask if he can call it in and maybe raise it to 1.5 cc’s to give me some room for error.
He replies, “wouldn’t 2 ML’s be easier”?
Ummmmm, yes.
Pharmacist calls me yesterday and says that they called it in for me, but she thinks it’s a mistake. I asked why and she said it’s for 2 ML’s a week now. Sorry lady, that’s correct. Picked up two 10 ML vials today for 50$. Hallelujah
