I get the same feeling you're describing of feeling lethargic, out of it, dizzy at times. Felt it these last few days. It feels like when I'm just sitting there I'll get a big jump in my chest that makes me tense up. I used to get those all the time and noticed it happens more when my body is going through changes or I'm very stressed out. I started feeling them 10 years ago when I was having panic attacks and went to the ER once thinking I'm dying. Anyway, just letting you know I've had that.

Yeah, you don't want to just stop bp meds. With some you can, I think, but I still would taper down. I was taking the max dose of lisinopril (80 mg) along with 25 mg beta blocker a day. I dropped my lisinopril to 40 mg since I was feeling dizzy when standing and my diastolic blood pressure was going down into the 40s. Now my bp is slightly higher (125-130/60-80) and I don't get the dizziness anymore.

Do some light cardio if you can. In my experience it seems to help.
Weird. It's usually the beta blockers that give you the orthostatic hypotension and Lisinopril doesn't give grief until the dosage unless the dosage is raised, and you were at max.

Congratulations on being able to lower the dosage!
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I’m not sure, but I did lose about 20 lbs since my appendectomy and getting off trt. I’m thinking that my heart was probably used to pumping a certain way at an increased body weight with thicker blood, and the meds were fine then, but now that I lost the weight and have thinner blood, the meds are too much.
