24 years ago I did substitute work for 6 months to see if teaching is really what I wanted to switch back to; it is not for the light hearted. But it’s almost like gladiator school & a necessary experience to live through depending on the population that you are going to teach full-time. Kudos to that substitute teacher from that article!
