The cheapest price was at Vons' supermarket's pharmacy at $850.25

At that price a script is fvuking useless unless you're Elon Musk kind of rich.

It's outrageous that the pharmaceutical companies have the nerve to charge that much for a drug. They do that same crap with other life-saving drugs too. It's the reason why health insurance is so expensive. And of course the federal government doesn't step in and regulate to the pharmaceutical companies how much they can charge (like just about every other developed country does).

Supply and demand....ie more competition. Ending the long term patents on newly developed drugs would go a long ways to lowering costs.
