Hold onto it. Most cattle farmers down my way don't leave hone without them. Coyotes seem to have made a comeback along with copperheads this year.

Just bought stocks in it and Smith and Wesson yesterday. Gun sales traditionally go up after mass shootings (and election years when gun rights are an issue). Don’t know bought how much Coyotes and Snakes affect sales, but mass shooting people? Killing people is business & business is good. Now I have to listen to Megadeath, lol.

Coyotes and pests have an effect. Since idiots illegally bought them in to run hounds, the coyote population has exploded. A 30% decrease since ~ 2022 in the deer population.....and you can imagine what hit cattle farmers have taken.

Edit: You would be amazed at the damage from feral hogs.... seriously.

Not many feral hogs in Maine bowling alleys, but I guess the term “pests” could apply (dependent upon the shooters frame of mind) so I just went with statistics regarding mass killings of people . . .

If you want to get picky we can get picky. I'm just pointing out that for people that live in rural areas, it's a useful tool.

Is it more palatable when I point out that 35 out of 50 states have problems keeping up with eradication of feral hogs?

Do dollars work better? The average annual cost of damage by feral hogs is 1.5 billion. That nothing compared to government waste, but for farmers, that money, for some that's their living.

Does the government have some ridiculous loopholes and a lot of work to do towards monitoring lunatics? Absolutely.

Huh? Whose picky? This thread is about mass shootings (of people). The shooter used an AR-15 and not the other guns you mentioned. I bought Ruger stock because they make the AR-15 and those sales often climb after mass shootings of people.

If you want to detour this thread and make it about shooting feral pigs or guns other than that used in this recent mass shooting (and many others) that’s your right of course, but that ain’t what this thread is really about. I’m simply re-focusing on this thread, the mass shooting of people, not killing snakes, pigs and snakes.
