Nah I'm not gay. This discussion is on my mind primarily for two reasons:
    (1) The week before last, I saw the most beautiful thing I ever saw, and it was two lesbians embraced and kissing
    (2) I've attended a lot of Christian churches over the past 8 years, and heard all sorts of homophobic preaching

But in general I just find things like this interesting, how a trait can emerge and become common in a community, and even among all of humanity.

Preaching what the Bible says about a perversion and or sin, which is a Christians guide for such matters, is not homophobic. That word is a catch all, fad label liberals like to throw onto someone to try to make them look evil!

Phobia means fear. There's no fear of homosexuals.

The Bible also teaches that we shouldn't murder or lie or steal. Is there a phobic word to call people who think one shouldn't commit murder?? Oh those Christians are so murderphobic!....smh
