I think any normal man would do the same. When women and children are in danger you would feel compelled to help.

Like stocky said, there is a small (yet somewhat vocal) portion of society which is intent on demasculinization of the male race; until they are assaulted, their house is on fire, or they have to change a tire; WTF...???

Speaking of the scumbag, POS attacker; anybody got any info of the guys ethnic / racial origin; was he a member of the contemporary invasion being prosecuted on the poor people in that area of the globe (where the fuck isn't there an immigrant invasion nowadays)? I have been to busy to check the news, but I believe I had heard that the attacker was not of Irish descent... Can anyone fill in the blanks?

Apparently it was an illegal Algerian from a local hotel.

For me either if it was an illegal or Irish citizen who done this. They should not be going to jail, they should be publicly executed.

I wasn't trying to start a race related discussion, but the resulting riots beg the question of whether or not the local citizenry would be up in arms, rioting (pillaging the local commercial establishments... Hey, it's a great way to "get some free stuff".) and protesting, if it had simply been a "local lad" who had done the dirty deed... I rather think not.

I know you weren’t mate. I don’t think they would be rioting if it was a local lad. But I do think there would be the same level of hatred.
The problem is the local lad would have always been there so there’s not a lot you could do about that. The illegal should have not been there to do the heinous crime.
The uk and Ireland have hotels just used to house illegals, maybe other country’s do to.

I personally feel for certain crimes, next day executions should take place. Immediate trials & gone. Ridiculous how much $ is wasted on court time/fees & housing inmates. Hard time for the rest in incarceration for “lesser” crimes and let their labor help pay for the roof over their head and 2 meals that are enough to keep them alive and working. I read a great book written by a prisoner of a Russian Gulag, that’s the way to treat inmates.

I totally agree. There is no getting to point where some like that could be released back into the public.
I went to the Dominican Republic 10+ years ago. And they were telling me. Food or payment has to come in from outside or the prisoner don't eat. I wonder if that’s true or not!

I went to Dublin City just yesterday . . . no sign at all of the destruction that took place in the rioting after the kids were stabbed . . . They cleaned it all up very very very quickly.
