    First cycle results + recommendations for second cycle

    Just finished my first cycle in over 10 years. Cycle was:

    Week 1 200mg Test-E EOD
    Week 1 200mg Primo-E EOD
    Week 2-10 175mg Test-E twice weekly
    Week 2-10 175mg Primo-E twice weekly
    Week 1-13 250IU HCG twice weekly
    Week 4-10 20mg Cardarine ED
    Week 5-10 40mg Turinabol ED
    Week 14-15 50mg Clomid and 40mg Nolvadex ED
    Week 16-17 25mg Clomid and 20mg Nolvadex ED

    My mid-cycle bloods showed my E2 levels had dropped 30% compared to baseline due to Primo?s E2 suppressing effects, even without AI. So from week 6 onwards I increased Test-E from 175mg to 350mg twice weekly to raise E2 levels.

    Pre-cycle stats:
    163lbs
    24lbs fat mass
    14.7% body fat

    Post cycle stats:
    175lbs
    18lbs fat mass
    10.5% body fat

    My goal was recomp/lean gains which I proudly achieved. Diet was strict ketogenic and a 500 calorie daily deficit. I?m currently 6 weeks post PCT and my bloods show all levels have returned to baseline.

    I?m starting to plan my next cycle with the same ?lean gains? goal in mind. I?ve read that it?s not recommended to run the same compounds for back to back cycles, so I?m seeking recommendations for different compounds for the next cycle.

    I did enjoy this cycle - Would it really be recommended to not run the exact same cycle again?

    That's quite a cycle, especially after such a long time off. You have you finished PCT and you're back to your baseline/ pre-cycle lab work values, run it again. However, I would take a bit more time off.
    You made progress, but for the amount of AAS you're taking, I would really make sure my diet was up to par to feed your "lean gains".

    Thanks for the reply.

    I wouldn?t be looking at commencing another cycle for at least another 6 weeks so I?ve had enough time in between.

    As for diet, I?ll probably do it a bit differently next time around. Instead of strict keto, I think I?ll add 60-70g of complex carbs a few hours pre-workout to fuel each session. Also as I?m now quite lean, I?ll probably aim for a slight calorie surplus, or at minimum maintenance calories. I like staying lean year round and don?t buy the old ?bulking? and ?cutting? methods.

    What are your thoughts on running the same compounds for back to back cycles?

    Just a question. Is it common to run Test E EOD now? People used to run it once or twice a week. If I was already shooting EOD for me personally I'd run Prop ED. Specially for lean gains. Nothing like Prop IMHO. Better pumps and less bloat. My Eth gains have never matched up. Also I was not a huge fan of primo. Only really saw strength gains when I used it. For me Prop/Tren is king. Great gains minimal bloat. Huge pumps. Again that's my personal feeling and what I plan on running my welcome back stack. I'm coming back to the game after a 20 year break....

    I usually prefer E3D, twice per week with cyp or enanthate esters. However some try to keep peak T levels higher with EOD injections. I've never tried the protocol and followed up with labs to confirm how much more the peal levels would be.

    My first cycle was test prop too, and I loved it, My body won't tolerate it these days. Crappy heart, clotting disorder, etc. Guess it's part of getting older.

    I have ran Cyp and Eth and they were great. Once I felt the pumps from Prop I never looked back. The only drawback for me was the ED injections but I was running it with Tren and back then we didn't have all these fancy estered Trens (Hell I can remember when you had to make Tren from a pellet.) Tren was an ED shot so Tren/prop just made sense. Honestly if your shooting EOD anyway may want to give Prop a go.

    What's stopping you from growing up and using Test Prop & NPP (instead of relationship destroyer, aka tren)?!?

    HEY MAN!!!! Your talking about the love of my life there!!!

    I have ran both EQ and Deca with test in the past like most people pre Tren becoming more popular. Tren always felt better to me. I don't really rage from Tren......Too much anyway. I think my own personality mixes with Tren well I'm not apposed to trying NPP but I'd expect it similar to my experience with Deca.

    It's been a while as you know but I would say once real labs started making the stuff even before they estered it it was pretty trendy. I had done all my research and I was getting ready to order my pellets and oil when a Vet from the boards sent me a list of his product. Old friend now but I didn't know him then. When I saw that I could skip injecting glue pellets I was ready to go.

    tbh Bro.... You almost have me almost ready to run some NPP / Prop or maybe even Test-E/Deca (LOL well see about that one). I don't wanna hijack Josh's thread but let's just say I have been thinking alot of bulking a little once I get to an acceptable fat%. Not a Lean namby pamby bulk like I used to do but a real bulk. I'm feeling the lack of strength now and I want to get strong. Like stronger than I have ever been strong. Might add some orals even and i'm not a fan of those most of the time. But good for some quick strength gains.

    Hoping Josh will forgive our detour. Definitely was a game changer when the underground raw materials included pure acetate and enth (including para access). Hard to beat the perks of tren (re mental and strength), I can empathize. However, as a homie, I feel that the jokes have surpassed the utility - trenbologne sandwich is the recommendation you'd often see recommended to a newbie w/ low information...as there's nothing more comedic.... Eventually, it boils down to nandrolones being the better 19-nor (for mature, long-term users) - jmho in '25.
