When I got older, my sister bought me a set of weights and a bench for xmas. I had no clue how to do anything. No books, nothing. I just did curls and bench presses and military presses. I loved the incredible hulk and arnold movies.

After my teen years I went to school, got married, had a family, etc. New house, car, career working on commercial jets, not a bad life.

Then I got lupus and almost died from it. My immune system turns my blood into battery acid, basically. So one day I'm in the bed, dying, so out of shape I can't even breathe, and I went downstairs and just started pushing the weights. And I never stopped again.

Funny thing happened. I'm better. Cured? Who knows, not totally, but I am stronger than I have ever been and look pretty ****ed good too. Heh. Of course, I have to fight this stupid disease, so that's where the test comes in. Great stuff, that testosterone.....

That's about as short and to the point as I can tell my little tale.

i think i started lifting for fighting... i was always skinny but always pretty strong for my size, got in alot of fights but never lost. i figured id loose sometime soon and started lifting. i figured if i worked out more it would help me protect myself. now i just wanna get stronger and bigger cause i see how much women look lol. i guess now i can say i do it to just stay healthy and to keep my ass out of trouble
