    **** impressive, i've been doin the heavy deadlifts with a real concentrated squeeze at the top for upper back thickness, shoulder-wide grip, how are you doin' it?

    Could be the way I'm flexing. As far as the deadlifts I do them a little wider than shoulder width apart, with an over/under grip. Only been doing them for three months now but they are fast becoming one of my favorite exercises.

    Never heard of adding WIDTH with deadlifts. More of a thickness exercise from my experience and from what others have told me. Chins, pulldowns, and bent rows have always been my method of adding width. Personally, my back width was my strength but I needed thickness. Thickness did not start coming though until I added deadlifts. IMO chins are where to add serious width.
