Err is there a reason why you quoted a passage... and u really think that because its on the same platform its the same? Ones a 4cyc (oooold celica were RWD) front wheel drive and ones 6cyc turbo RWD. The ECU, break system, axles... umm just about everything is different about the two. So thanks for doing a google search and quoting something that didnt help u.

As far as repeating myself... you my friend are a moron. I was comparing an accord V6 with a mustang GT. If you want to look at numbers by the same people they differ in the 1/4 mile by .5 sec. So it was worth mentioning how there v8 blows.

Last, an explanation about it being in the past is simple... 2 valves per cyc is the standard. To make it breath better they have nowadays DOHC which stands for duel over head cams. Which normally then has 4valves per cyc.
