If it was infact an insult then you personify a completely misled downright wrong perspective. Canada has in the last 10 or so years:

-been the ONLY country to participate in EVERY U.N. peacekeeping campaign since the U.N.'s formation
-participated alongside the USA as of recently in: Gulf War I (provided aircraft and naval support)
-Kosovo (more air support and humanitarian relief)
-Bosnia and the former Yugoslavia (still has a peacekeeping prescense since it began in the early 90s... of which I have several friends on tour now)
-assisted the US in Afghanistan (special forces worked alongside the american in ridding the Taliban, and we are in our second cycle of tours in maintaining stability in the country), also providing air support and naval escorts in the local vicinity

All this while being SERIOUSLY underfunded. I know this first hand as I have been an army reservist for 3 years now. Our troops are stretched thin.

We may not have the world's historically largest military budget like you, but our intentions are well though out and noble. We have stood by the USA and our allies time and time again. We declared war in 1939 against Nazi Germany. Never has our government faultered when the world called on us.

that is a good way to view it, but we all know that the media/govt declared war on any performance enhancing products long ago. With the way that activists and lobbyiest control the actions of congress, we unfortunately will see no change that we like regarding this topic. Sad but true. Even though there are some things that could be better, I still have a wonderful life. Yup, I can back this up... i was in Kosovo twice (the "hot conflict" at the time... I wish we could go back to that). The second time I went we stayed at Camp Canada. They canucks had their **** together like no one else, and they were great guys to hang with. Only the Brits do it better, having Beer and all.

If I had to leave paradise (AKA San Diego) and move somewhere else, it would be Vancouver. I love it there!

Anyway, the whole Ando thing is pretty BS. But then, as some have said, don't screw with the little stuff. If you are gonna do it, do it right.
