take a look around the world women are disrespected and abused by lots of different people all over the world. take a look in america,england,france,spain,russia,china,jamica and anywhere else, how many women are subjected to beatings? how many children are raped and kidnapped? does this mean its apart of the west or any other country, no. it just means a women ended up beeing with an asshole boyfriend/husband.

Physio, I think you're missing the core of the problem here. It's not a question of whether the Quran says that if you blow yourself up on Jews or Christians you will get 72 virgins. The problem is that this is what the common people are being taught, and this is what they believe. Those who teach them this are those who are supposed to be their religious and political leaders. If a 15 years old child straps a bomb onto himself and goes to blow up just because he wants to have sex and was told that no one likes him and his only chance for ever having sex is becoming a martyr and getting 72 virgins, then it's really not important if it's in the Quran or not. What is important is that it's done "in the name" of the Quran, by people who are convince it's in it.
I take it you're English, from the 1000 pounds you're willing to pay if you're supplied with a quote in the Quran. Being English, I'm sure you are as well aware (if not more) as I am of the constant preaching in Mosques throughout England for terrorism. Do you see the problem?
