quads are pure bullshit.

unless you're doing INTENSIVE photoshop, 3dsmax, etc....your money is better spent on a HIGH ghz dual core. like the E8400. 45nm dye, 3ghz dual core. faster than something like the q6600 which is 2.4ghz per core.

hell, even crisis doesn't use 4 cores properly at all...it uses the first 2 full, then the next 2 only %20 each.

waste.

This is what i built about a year and a half maybe ago. Just getting bored of it. Built for graphic intensive gaming.

I havent spent a lot of time OCing anymore since all my games run perfectly. I did however pop my buddies quadcore into my motherboard and i did notice a faster windows load. Ehh maybe in the future.
But i totally see your point on quadcores. Most current software (that i have seen) doest even make good use of the power.

I issued a nurse a new Palm Treo Cell phone 2 weeks ago

Phone call:
- I'm going to need you to get me a new phone, mine is broke

- What's wrong with it?

_It doesn't work

- I need you to be more specific, what do you mean it doesn't work?

- It doesn't ring when someone calls me

- Ok well does anything appear on the screen when you have an incoming call?

- Yes, but it doesn't ring

- OK, there are two buttons on the side of the phone stacked on top of each other, I want you to press the one closest to the top of the phone 5 times, then I'm going to call you from another line and we can see if it works...

- OK.......Oh wow! it rings now! Well how did you do that?

- You have to turn the ringer volume up or it won't ring.

Geez, this woman has a nursing degree but no common sense.

I don't believe in SLI, least not yet. I have read article after article showing that one top of the line card most of the time can keep up and in some cases beat the SLI. So cost vs performance is not worth it IMO. Plus for me like i said with the games i am playing my card at stock clocks is more than enough.

I never understood running so many HD's. I am guessing you have RAID on them ? I never got into that for some reason.

that's fast, trust me, if you are riding alone and have nobody to draft off of...means you are pushin 23-24 on the flats
you slow down as low as 7 or 8 mph on steep hills. You shoulda seen the look on the face of this guy riding a harley when I passed him going down hill, i was doing like 40 and he was going like 25. I like to play in traffic and pass cars, it's a bad habit.
