Been stuck on Black Label Society for the last day or so. I'm thinking maybe some Down or Superjoint Ritual to go with arms this evening.

Love them both and rock Hell Yeah regularly. Saw them live over the summer. Chad Gray from Mudvayne is sick and of course Vinny Paul is royalty. They did not disappoint. I'm seeing suicide silence and korn tomorrow night.

May listen to some music from "The Sword" tonight. Kind of a grungy Sabbath sound. Seem to be in that kind of mood right now. It's borderline stoner rock, IMO, but suitable to get the mind focused?

Either that or Acid Kings Busse Woods album.

Always enjoy seeing big names @ smaller clubs. Saw Superjoint Ritual and 4 other lesser known bands @ Ground Zero in S'burg years ago.
Club had 2 stages and 4 bars if I remember correctly. When 1 band finished, another would start up on the other stage while the first hand broke down their gear and the next one got their setup going.

Here's some pics last night from the Korn show. Suicide Silence was just precision and Korn put on a masterful performance for the record books. Just f*cking insane good. Got up close and in the pit. They played they're first full album and then a 4 song encore. Click image for larger version.

Nice pics, Igi! Glad you got to see that show, man. Don't see the old Korn mic stand with the boobs on it. Was wondering if they would break it out or wait for a tour to do so.

I had the shop to myself most of the night last night. Listened to Earthless. Think I may have to investigate this band a little further.

It was straight up Slayer for me in the gym last night. Needed some evil to get me through the pain from legs the day before.

Little Black Dhalia Murder as well afterward.
