Lmk what you think? Did you like there older stuff. I remember when there first album came out. Was when I was in high school and I wore the needle out on my record player listening to itOriginally Posted by DCI
So 'Devil You Know' has a new album out and it's pretty solid. They did a remake of 'Eye of the Tiger' and it's pretty damn bad ass.
Wth took someone so long to come out with a metal remake of this classic?
Have a listen: http://youtu.be/ENfhEpoNQw8

Nice.. Love both. Seen disturbed twice and want to go see then again on 4/1 in Baltimore. Only thing is the wife's bday is right after that so we may be out of town.Originally Posted by Bio-Active
AG, based on some of the stuff you've mentioned, I'd be surprised if you didn't like Pallbearer. Ever heard them? If not, I'd highly recommend giving them a listen.
They're heavy, melodic and powerful.
Paradise Lost's new one, No Hope In Sight, man it's good. Reminds me a little of LOG just not as heavy.
Prepped my food for next week and listened to Accept Metal Heart
Older stuff huh? Reminds me a little of a heavy AC/DCOriginally Posted by Bio-Active
Thought some of y'all might like this one. Only listened to a couple of their songs. One was a tad too speedy, but these guys may be worth a second listen? Members are from Cannae, Overcast, Killswitch Engage, and Shadows Fall.
Anyway, I like this one tune!

There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Nice! Love this. Killswitch and Shadows Fall are a couple of my long time favorites. Seen them both live. Shadows Fall is from my home state too. Mentioned them a few times in this thread.Originally Posted by almostgone
Thought you, DCI, Bio, and some of the others might. Some days that I have to have some nice fairly heavy yet slower riffs to get me.motivated.
Back in the mid 80s I used to go see some.of the area bands. Karl Sanders and Dallas Toler-Wade both used to play the G'ville - Spartanburg area (they are the guitarists for Nile now). On a lighter note, Jackyl came.from a little town about 30 miles up the road.

Miss May I and Parkway Drive. Killer show, really enjoyed it. My buddy brought his girlfriend so I lost em pretty quick and spent a good amount of the night in the mix. Haven't gotten in it like that for a while.
A little Southern flavor in the machine shop tonight.https://youtu.be/np08NDg40CE
