These guys are pretty funny and have a bunch of great songs. Can't listen to them for too long but they're pretty progressive and jazzy/metal.

12 foot Ninja. They're on the dozen

Love putting on some good headphones sometimes and just listening closely to the many unique intricacies the artists work so hard on.

Someone told me the other day they hate metal and it's not music. I didn't argue but just know he can't hear it like we do. Too bad for him.

Anyone who says they hate any form of music bar certain types of utter rubbish like properly fast death metal shouty noise at a million bpm same for that shoxking mid 00's generic dance noise clearly doesn't understand music.

I listen to anything that is good. Metal has its place as does pop etc but to say either is crap and not technical is just a closed minded human. Music is there to expand the mind. I won a set of grados head phones they are amazing.

I am lucky enough to have a really nice stereo in my house and the room that i listen to music to is big so it allows the speakers to breath really helps with hearing all the little pieces of music youd never hear. My fave time is 2 to 6 am to listen to music as no noise at all to block out the speakers. I was listening to led zep stairway to heaven you could hear jimmy pages hand move up and down the fret with the speakers its amazing

I'm going out on a limb and say that Slayer's South of Heaven" album was one of my "go to" favorites in my younger lifting days. Also, a couple of the older Death Angel tunes.

LOL, I've always considered the heavy, melodic metal to be this generations version of old school classical, especially with so many artists now really exploring the 7 string guitar, drop "D" tuning, etc.

Also, I wish Tool would jump thrkigh whatever hoops they have to get their new album released. Seems like it had been almost a decade.
