I dont miss it at all. I cant stand being force fed a pile of bs and advertising - not to mention, most programing is an assault on my senses and intellect. Its a known fact that television is used a global babysitter and to pacify large number of people.
A number of years ago i was fortunate enough to ride along with NYPD out at Coney Island in New York, of course. And they reported that anytime the cable goes out, wife assault and property crime skyrockets. Sad huh?
