    If someone threatened my life, regardless of the situation, I would be inclined to strike first...it's me or him and it ain't gonna be me.

    Take it for what you want, but I would forget the vest and get some heat. A quality handgun will be cheaper than a vest and provide guaranteed results.

    Or...you could settle the beef, before violence ensues.

    Or...avoid any situation where this individual may be.

    He most likely can't get a handgun living in Canada, and a concealed carry permit? Forget it. But lets not forget, criminals will always obey gun laws, so he shouldn't worry about getting shot.
