That old scotch drinking expert (from Yale I think) was pathetic? He was so one sided that he doesn't give any credibility to the fact that roids can be healthy if used in a controlled amount. He's just paid by the government to speak out at the steroid hearings on the dangers of putting these drugs into your body. Remember, this is for the kids who look up to these pro atheletes. This last time I remembered, these atheletes (besides Conseco after retiring) are not promoting the use of steroids. That's a choice that is made by the young athlelete.

Make steroids legal for performance enahancment with doctor supervision? Right? Level playing field? BS! There will always be something that can be taken that can't be detected... Testosterone can't be detected but only the level of test has a max. So basically all atheletes can juice with test up to the maximum. This is actually pretty good for the older athletes as natural levels naturally decrease with age. Look at the article on Julio Franco in this month's GQ.....

Try running an instance of windows under VMware, or run a player under Wine, maybe? Hey, that's what you get for marching out of step LOL! Serious, I am surprised nobody has wrote a tool for converting or viewing wmv files on a linux box. Pity. I can probably convert, but I have a very slow connection via aircard, basically a cellphone on a pcmcia card, so it would take me weeks to send it. That file would probably be around 700mb as an mpg file. Look... go ahead and download it and fiddle with it when you get the time. Just cause you can't play it doesn'tmean you can't download.

Hey, tallman, you can break it up into a multipart zip file or rar file set, and send one part at a time. 5MB is a pretty handy size. Then the end recipient simply opens the first file of the set and WinRar or WinZip will determine if all the parts are there or not, and then rebuild the original from the parts. That way he can ask for just the parts needed if one or two don't get through intact. There are other things that can be done to ensure file integrity but I won't go into them. THe main thing is breaking it up into multiple volumes. Often the receiver cannot receive a hyooooge file, or the transfer is interrupted, and you have lost all that work. With small parts, you don't have either problem. You can just re-send any part that does not go through.
