All of the guys on the list are great choices and it is hard to pick just one of them. I like Nassar but I had to vote for Levrone....I think he got robbed on 2 separate occasions.

A big thumbs up for Lou Ferrigno. And he was definatley robbed by Robinson at the 94' Masters. Everyone was too busy pissing and moaning about Lou's "GH gut" to notice that he still stood at 6' 5" 318lbs and 3%(est) b/f. I guess it couldn't have been too bad though, it seems to have caught on with a lot of todays pro's. I think that if he could have tightend his waist a little during that contest he would have swept it. As for back in the hey day, I'd have to say that his height was probably a disadvantage to him. Even though he looked like a tree trunk standing next to "The Oak", he still wasn't able to pack enough meat onto that huge frame to take it.

I dont really follow this much, but I read a story about I think 2000 mr olympia I think where Levrone looked noticeably better than Ronnie Coleman yet still lost.

  14. #54
It's getting close to Olympia time so I figured I would give this a bump back to the top.

i like many bodybuilders for many reasons, but if i could look like someone it would have to be Serge Nubret. That mother looked badass, and not like a freak. he got robbed!

my vote goes 100% to Shawn Ray. IMO when you are only 5'7" and weighing in at 216 ripped and you can still compete with the big boys. You definetly deserve some more attention. He has come so close many times, and always stays consistant. He deserves to win hands down.

Best to never win Mr. O...Flex. Next year's winner....Cutler or Gunter. True winner of the 1980 Mr. O...ARNOLD! I'll admit, he came to Sydney a bit smaller than his 75 form, however, his symmetry was still unmatched. Personally, I thought Mentzer was overrated and Zane lacked overall chest size. I know I'll take heat for this opinion, but what can I say, I am a big Arnold fan...

So tough to say. Kevin could have easily won the O on many occasions. Shawn is there every year and IMO deserved the title in '96. But I'd have to go w/Flex. Purely based on his physique AT ITS BEST is without a doubt the greatest to never be crowned Mr. O. Perhaps the only physique that could ever beat Flex circa '93 (Arnold/Olympia) is the one that did that year, Dorian the day of the 1993 Mr. Olympia. If memory serves me correct, I believe Flex said it at the time that he had no problem losing to someone looking like that. Mind-boggling.

It's gotta be Lou. At the time there were only a couple of guys in the same league as Lou and Arnold. I love Franco Columbu, but I think Lou should have beaten him.
