I'm not really feeling any of these new songs, I've heard a bunch from random artists but nothing too exciting. although I don't mind some of the new Rick Ross songs. I'm just waiting for albums of ice cube and the game...and ill have them playing for a while cuz i usually do, unless its total crap which i highly doubt.

Just got Ice Cubes new album and at first listen it's not too bad...will have to listen to it a bit longer especially the lyrics to see how good it really is.

Yeah Um I will download it haha, I only support certain rappers, Ice Cube has made alot of money off movies and his music, haha i have respect for him but chances are I am only gonna listen to a couple of songs... Onthe topic of rap, I was a big fan all I listened to, but I can only listen to most of it at the club these days, dem franchise boys and all those knock offs that sing laffy taffy and its goin down are annoying but some how took over the airwaves... I am a fan of YOung jeezy right now, and i cant hate on ti cause he came along way... but I cant get over how far rap has drifted from its roots, I mean i guess its what sells gotta hustle and make songs that are gonna be played in the clubs, right, I mean 50 came up dissin on Ja for singin on his cd's and dissin d'angello for takein his shirt off to sell records, but mean while what is window shopper and what is candyshop?

I agree that rap has drifted a lot in the past few years. I personally do not like a lot of the new rappers but I guess a lot of people like the new style of rap because they seem to be selling a lot. Even after listening to some new artists and their songs, I always seem to end up going back to listening to rappers such as 2pac and other from that time era. IMO it still sounds a lot better than the songs that have come out recently.
