haha thats funny. i haven't gone into an A&F store in days, but the other day i went into nordstrom rack. every single shirt i tried on barely fit me around the shoulders and back.

but honestly, i think i got much more work to do, and many more cycles to do before i am anywhere nearly content with my build.

Abercombie is a racist store we actually learned this in OB (organizational behaviour) this past semester. There was an eposide on 60 minutes as well. They came out with a shirts with two cartoon asian guys on it saying " Two wongs make it right" plus alot of blacks, hispanics got rejected. or the ones that got hired were cleaning floors et.c

Well, I never knew about the race issue with A&F but I do know that they only hired people they percieve to represent the Abercrombie image. Which means, no uglys, no fat out of shape slobs, etc, etc...And in that regard I believe they have every right to select who they hire based on aesthetics. They are marketing a product and want to use a certain 'type' of person to represent their product. They believe that the people who work in their stores (and have to wear A&F from head to toe) are representing their product to the customer. You wouldn't find a flat chested girl in hooters (often), or a 300lb woman as a stripper in a strip club. You could go on and on forever naming jobs that are based on your aesthetics that would keep you from getting hired. Unless a company is subject to Affirmative Action Laws, then theres really nothing anyone can do about it, except bitch. I however, did not know they were racially discriminatory which sucks, but hopefully in time that will change...

Im probally going to get flamed for this but here it goes. Yes I was an abercrombie employee and I fit into their clothes. 34x32 and a large shirt. I weight 180-185 5'11 and dont consider myself "small" compared to the others who dont lift. I consider myself an athletic build but hey im not swole but then again...who is? But screw it. I did nothing. I got paid to flirtt with girls and get phone numbers, literally. I was told to flirt with girls while standing in the front to get them to buy jeans. Abercrombie and Bitch or whatever the stereotype may be...who cares im still banging the creme of the crop - call me corny.
