You have a slow metabolism. Yours is no where near as fast as mine.Originally Posted by scriptfactory

thats because fat does not need energy to maintain its state while muscle requires approximately 50kCal per day to sustain that lb in menOriginally Posted by scriptfactory

Ahhh! That makes much more sense. I knew a lady that suffered from hyperthyroidism and she could eat like a cow and not gain a single pound. She looked absolutely anorexic and ate like crap.Originally Posted by Carlos_E

About 150 a week on groceries...and about 100 a month on supps
well my sister and I trade off paying for groceries. I would say in the neighborhood of $250 every week. I need to get groceries tonight!
wow carlos, that's amazing..just lay off the T3....J/K.Originally Posted by Carlos_E
i also drop about another $50 or so a week on supps, and eat out atleast once a week(im bulking), so im at about $800.00 a month, by far my largest bill...gotta love it.
He's hyperthyroidic. He shouldn't even be using T3... unless he wants a heart attack.Originally Posted by lightwaytbaby
I don't take T3. I naturally have elevated T3 levels (hyperthyroid). It makes it hard to gain and easy to lose muscle when dieting.Originally Posted by lightwaytbaby

I am freaking blessed that i have that oppertunity. and i eat anywhere from 2.5-3 pounds of chicken a dayOriginally Posted by lightwaytbaby

Is it worth it ....spending that much ?Originally Posted by Carlos_E
Not trying to be brash, but just wondering bro
Carlos why eat so much Protein? Have you tried upping you carbs to see if it makes any difference? I'd say 250g Protein + 600carbs/day would be just as effective at bulking as say 400g protein + 400g carbs. Much cheaper too.
I was spending close to 2K/month when I was eating 10-12oz portions of meat 8times/day then dropped to 4-6oz portions and upped my carbs and noticed no difference in weight gain etc.. I think ppl way over-do protein portions, not to mention it tore up my stomach etc.. so the carb switch was a great change.
Salmon, ofcourse it's worth it to "Us".. or obviously we wouldn't live this lifestyle.
yea your right dude... He craps and pisses it out anyways so it's kind of uselessOriginally Posted by I**mfkr

You do realize that excess amino acids will get excreted through urine and crap.. and he definitely has an excess amount in his body.
Although it may be challenging to know how much he should take in a day

Tuna..tuna..tuna.. oats.. brown rice.. canned veggies.. more tuna
I don't use supps significantly.
Maybe a couple bucks every 2 months for a multivitamin.. and b-complex viatmins.
But you're fat...Originally Posted by Narkissos

I posted what I'm eating for prep. Off season is different I eat more carbs. Right now I'm cycling carbs and even the high days are not that high. This is how Victor mapped out my diet. I saw a few guys today and they said I look much fuller than I did 2 weeks ago. They said 2 weeks ago I was looking flat. Victor tweaked the diet at that time. He makes changes every few days depending how I look.Originally Posted by I**mfkr

I gotcha..
Yes, Bobby had me eating around 48-56oz of meat per day at times..
That's around 3-4lbs of meat a day... got very expensive.
