bros, did anyone have a pleasure experiencing one of those. I need a daily driver through and not sure if Vett would make a reliable one for a two year period. I can get the 2005 for mid $30K

i think they are pretty reliable. you should be ok with a low mileage daily driver........... but remember the more after market modifactions you put on it the less reliable it will become
my best advice is to buy a new car. thats why i suggest subaru wrx, 0-62mph in 5 seconds. great sporty looks. and reliable. i will repeat reliable. subaru are perfect constructed cars. buy a new wrx and treat it correct and you will have great time, treat it bad and you will hurt ur bank account, i dont see the point in buying a 2nd hand car. like a corvette because of its style and reputation. when u can have a brand new car cheaper. that is just as powerful. and dosnt look like ur trying to impress everyone while still doing thatOriginally Posted by NightTrain

For me I'm not out racing anymore. I'm looking at that Porsche. Yes there is faster cheaper cars. But driving the Porsche its a different feeling. Its more refined. es my mustang was faster but this was better. Plus high end cars just have alot of other features that a 30k car doesn't.Originally Posted by Foskamink
if ur like 25+ porsche is great. i guess it really impressive and respectful. im 18 so obviously what i think of somone my age in a porsche is alot different to what 25 year olds would think of people in porsche. features i wouldnt know. but im a real strong beleiver in value and quality for money. and nothing can compete with WRX within a respectable price range in my opinion
I understand age effects peoples taste. I'm assuming since he is getting ride of an x5 he isn't that young. And is looking for something a little classier. But you kinda contradicted yourself. Didn't you just get a used range rover? You can get a brand new Ford Explorer for that money an its probably more reliable then the Range Rover.Originally Posted by Foskamink
I know you have a WRX and they are nice cars. Nothing can compete in its price range your crazy.

Would you be planning on adding any mods to the car?

And I also love how he set the price around 40-50k and people are posting 100-300,000 cars haha
since i am free tomorrow, i'll be heading over to the local dealership and test drive the Benz. I am honestly trying to drift away from the BMWs since i've owned numerous before and would like to try out a different car maker all together.
it'll be an 03 SL500 and is slightly above my spending budget. I am more of luxury SUV/sedan type of guy for a daily driver, but this car did get my attention just like the Vett. NO, i will not be buying it that same day, it'll just be a fun day and maybe i'll get to drive a Vett as well at another location.
daym, desicions and more desicions

I would get the Benz over a vette any day. A vette may be a fast car but they are cheesy. They are considered a poor mans exotic by me.
lol, its funny you said that since when i owned the 95 300zxtt, people used to tell me the same exact thing never the less i agree on the Vett, but you also have to admit though that right out of the box a Vett is a bang for the buck.Originally Posted by gixxerboy1
just got back from testing the SL500 the entire morning and i honestly wanted to drive it home right away, but the more i though about it, i need more room since i am used to the SUV so probably will continue shopping around for a luxury sedan.
I passed on the Vett and did not feel like driving 40min. just to test drive that thing since i am not gonna buy it any ways. buying a car is not an easy task, i can tell you that much simlar to choosing a woman you wanna have a relationship with

X5's are the new soccer mom cars. Nut up and get an M3.
Stage 3 everything. Motor was built from the ground up. Was a conversion, but I tell you what, pull up next to me in a new Lex, G35, 350z and watch how you cry
PS- FOR SALE.
funny that. range rovers are dirt cheap now in europe. 98 range rover is like 25% the cost of my brand new 2006 wrx. and the range rover is for my mum and shes driving it for 3-4 months. reason we get range rover cause we need a hard 4wd cause move to the mountains now and im the winter wrx wont make it upOriginally Posted by gixxerboy1

Looks like a 328....you don't even have the m3 mirrorsOriginally Posted by rast4man
