I compare loads in a few different manuals and then chronograph them to see if they are safe ( I will give an example, if you are shooting a .30-06 with a 150 grain bullet and it reads 3000fps or more, you know it is producing way too much pressure)

I have two air-rifles, that can take down small animals like squirel. But there is usually not much time in the hunting season for it, and I usually miss it.

I'm looking at getting my FAC, and picking up something better to hunt with.

    haha, furazobol? DEAL!

I guess they are illegal....? I don't even know lol, I only go shootin every now and then and the only guns I know of are the ones I have. Not too "Into" em but they are cool. I have 2 clips strapped together so I can just reload by flipping it around and putting it in it's badass.

um...sks goes for 30-110 dollars depending on the quality of it. You can go cheap when you intend to ditch the old wood and go for a replacement body with a folding stock. But who likes synthetic. And that goes for 30. So all together...iz pretty cheap mang. Nice gun though... i have a chinese and yugo.

I own three rifles, A 7.7mm Japanese sniper rifle from WW2, A .30-6 Remmington 700 and a Marlin .30-.30 Lever Action XLR. One 12 gauge shotgun. Two pistols, a .357 Magnum. And a Berreta .38.
It's pretty easy to buy a rifle, you can walk in a gun store and be out the door with one in about an hour. You have to wait a couple of days for a pistol in some states.
The last gun I bought was the Marlin .30-.30 for $1200 it was the chrome version though and it was just released when I bought it.
The .50 cal BMG is the most powerful. Also the most expensive to shoot.
Why own a gun? Because it makes a big boom, plus it's really hard to hunt with a sling shot... I've tried.

    It varies from state-to-state.

In California there is a 10 day wait on all guns. For pistols you have to take a quick 50 question test on gun laws and safety as well as your finger prints taken at the gun store.

In other states there is a waiting period on hanguns 3-14 days, but some states do not have a waiting period on rifles or shotguns.

It varies a Jennings .22 pistol may sell for as little as $89, while a Browning Hi Power 9mm runs around $850.

A .350 Weatherby Magnum rifle may run as high as $2000, but a .22 Marin 39A costs only $120.

Did you guys here about the "Guns for Guns And Roses Tickets" thing the ATF did in Oakland? One gun for one ticket. I should have set up myy own booth there and had a stack of ticket. Probably could have got some good guns for the price of a ticket!! I could called my booth "Mac-10's for Mosh Pit Tickets"

I hate UK gun law. I used to shoot rifle (.22 long) for county and country but quit due to al the BS and expense of owning a firearm in UK. I even won a few trophies at Bisley. Might take it up again when I move to a BETTER country.
