Here's a pic of the Lav my buddy was in after it was hit by a suicide bomber in a car. He got lucky and walked away with a few cuts and bruises and is already back in action. It happened last August in Afghanistan, just a few weeks into his Tour.

yea those are never good days but if you look you'll notice the guy on the ground is smiling and thats only cuz he's got his brothers around him and he knows he's safe now

True that, I got a video clip of ogrish of one of our gunny's getting hit in a tank by an RPG but I can't find it on the web now and I can post video so I cant put it up. Got some good ones of the enemy but kinda offensive to some so I wont post those either. But every couple day's ill post some pics to keep this thread going. Although Im sure alot of people are getting sick of the Military talk on here so i'll keep it to a minimal in my post. Sorry guys

I know ill keep it up in the military threads thats fine, but me and king got jumped by this dude in another thread and we kinda hijacked the thread of a guy that really needed help, so I gotta chose my postings in the appropriate area more wisely. This is a steroid forum not a military forum, and I dont feel like getting suspended or banned because Lifting is my life, and gear is starting to become a big part of it also. But i'll keep the pics comming in this thread anyway.

hey bro you should go ahead and post those videos on ogrish or something I'd love to see them. Seems like you had a hell of an experience, glad to know you made it back okay. I leave for Basic in June and after that I have just over a year of training, but they told me that for my MOS the chances of deployment to Iraq right now is 100%

Ya im kinda pissed at the military / Navy right now.... joined the navy to go to sea and see the world, but ive been stationed in ****ing washington for 2 years working on this damn p3 airplane that cant go on the ship so im stuck on shore.....wtf navy
