Bump for update.
I dont want to sound harsh but for the ammount of time you have been here this is pretty slow progress, If your diet and cardio had been on point then we would be looking at ab shots. Not knocking you bro but I think you need to work on diet and cardio to achieve your goals.
Good luck.
Double post my bad---
Well I am working at my own pace and making progress. When I first started here I started my first cycle overweight as you already know. I didnt really start any kind of fat loss until the beginning of Jan 07. I weighed 265 at the beginning of the year and I currently weigh 242. I would say 23 Lbs in 2 months is reasonable. I would like to have lost more but I dont want to lose too fast and lose muscle and strength. I understand what you mean though. I wish I could lose this fat quicker. I do cardio about 5 days a week and I would say my diet is about 80% of where it should be. The abs will be here shortly.

job done.
I know I know, its just hard to pass up a slice or 4 of pizza every now and again. I see my flaws and I try to be realistic about my goals and methods. I do agree that I could be much farther along than I am by now and I wont make any excuses either. My only goal is to be decently cut by summer. Once I see a solid 6 I will be happy.

He's right GGallin, not to get all "Matrix" on you but - you've been down that road, you know where it leads!
I'm a former lardass too, my pics are on here somewhere, (and I've improved a shitload since the "afters" in that thread, more pics to come soon - you heard it here first!) so I know what I'm talking about, hard work + sacrifice = success, the measly, fleeting gratification that a few slices of pizza gives you is nothing compared to the satisfaction, pride and self confidence you feel when you finally take control of your own body and the way you look - it will change your life immeasurably for the better!
I know guys. But I am moving foward, I think we all agree on that. I know the error in my ways and I was being honest about that. Most the time I do pass on the pizza slices and junk food but occasionally I break down. But I have gotten better and better about it. I feel good and I look better so I think that is important. Everything is falling in line over time. Thanks for the encouragement though. I know I am not moving as quickly as some people but I am working hard and I have not quit yet so that is worth something I hope. Keep watching my progress youll see some good improvements soon enough,
What happened to the GGallin who swore he would have a six pack by summer? That guy at least had some desire and intensity.
Its hard to pass up slices of Pizza? Come one man, if you want to look good, you have to put in the work. You have made some good progress to this point, but you seem to have lost some desire?
I have not lost the desire. I am losing weight slowly now, a plateu if you will. But even still, at this rate I will have a 6 pack by summer. If I step it up I will have one by april. I have not lost the desire bro and I have not even slowed down as far as my training and diet goes. I was just explaining why I am not farther along than I am to perfect beast. I am losing a few lbs evey week and thats fine with me, at least I am not gaining. I lost the first 15-20lbs quick eating the same way I am now, but my body isnt burning the fat as quick now. Its true I need to step my game up.
exactly, when the weight loss slows its time to make adjustments so it continues to fall off. make your adjustments and keep at it. i savor my 1 cheat meal a week, its how i keep strong throughout the week. also crystal lite is my other outlet, when i need something sweet or im jonesing for something bad, i mix up a little of that sweet nectar and, bammm! dude youre doing awesome, youve made huge changes, be proud of all that! and hopefully that satisfaction can take you to the next level, peace!!Originally Posted by GGallin
