Anyways, those aren't nutrients, they're minerals.

the nutrients i m talking about are creatine and glutamine, that i add in.
the Gatorade(dextrose) is meant to spike insulin levels to drive amino acids and glucose into muscles.
all this is found in the flex march issue, seven best meals for growth all day, page 158. it also says that gatorade is better than oatmeal for PWO.

eating in itself will stop cortisol. stopping cortisol is one of the first reasons people used dex. but any food will stop it. "spiking" insulin levels using dex?? you can't even compare the response to a spike if you use exo. insulin. what the hell are people discussing here? which is better? and replacing glycogen will take you around 24 hours to achieve anyway. so "filling" it with dex isn't going to happen. a lot of the shit advice that is passed around here is all "bro" talk. i have an outrageous idea for anyone who is still bitching about this concept to try...

    do what works.

and if you think that your PWO offering is going to shape the way you look/grow/feel then why even bother planning the rest of your diet? its a cumulative effect. many people here will bitch about whey PWO or just a meal. dex or oats. but the people who are growing and changing on a routine basis are those who do what works best for them INDIVIDUALLY!

****ing people never listen to their own body and i'm out.

the Gatorade is meant to act just like dextrose, by spiking insulin levels.

Most of the carbs offered by Cytogainer is derived from maltodextrin. It's what they call their proprietary "complex carb solution".

The more supplements i use and the less real healthy food i eat as a result, the shittier i feel. I think that this maxim holds true for just about everyone.

Thats what I've been doing for a while. I've experimented with just dextrose, just low GI carbs (oats), and a combo. Haven't noticed a difference, and have been getting consistent gains. I feel a bit of dex could cause the spike and perhaps increase nutrition uptake and blunt cortisol, while the oats will keep 'stable' levels of blood sugar.
