Hmmm....

Tupac - Best rapper there ever was IMO. I think lots of people have emulated his style.

Z-Ro - Greatest rapper alive IMO, unheard of because he speaks about truth in life instead of the norm. i.e. - cars, women, jewlery...He does talk about it but says a lot about the real things that go on in life death, friends, relationships, money problems, etc...

Biggie Smalls - Another good rapper IMO, legendary.

Bone Thugs ~N~ Harmony - Great group, listen to their old stuff and its great.

Lil' Wayne - I think he is officially on top of the game but I honestly feel it should be Z-Ro.

T.I. - Good artist, not king of the south though.

Juvenile - Old school.

NWA - Good

Wu Tang - Good

Eminem - Great, probably one of the best lyricists ever IMO.

Z-ro is the only houston rapper I'll dish out money for a CD these days. Don't think he's quite on Lil Weezy's level yet but I know they aren't the same. Wayne has the funds and rep to get the big time producers. IMO Lil Wayne = best rapper alive even with JayZ comming out of retirement. And I'm not just saying that because I'm from down the street from him either. He's been in the game for a decade now and has improved with every verse.

One of my favorites too. "Hellraiser", "Ghost", "Until the End of Time", "Me and My Girlfriend", "Life Goes On", "Still Ballin", "Straight Ballin", "All Eyes On Me", "Temptations", "Keep ya Head Up"...I could go on forever. The dude was a genius. He spot to people in every walk of life.
