Yeah, Carl Cox is the man. Lots of you guys seem to like Tiesto...I was never highly impressed with him as my knowledge of electro music expanded. Just my opinion here, not trying to step on anyones musical toes. haha! I do admit I liked Tiesto when I started to listen to electro/techno/house but not as I expanded out.

David Guetta is good but I would say Carl Cox is one of the sickest Dj's I've listend too.

Download that link I posted of one of the best 1 hour electro house sets ever made.

    You will not be disappointed.

I used to listen to a lot of trance (the kings, tiesto, pvd, avb etc.) but I grew outta that after a few years. Besides they haven't come out with anything exciting in a long time.

Paul Oakenfold as shitty as he usually is made an awesome set titled Live From Havana 2003. Absolutely amazing music.

Benny Benassi is bumpin' enough for working out.

Deadmau5 is an amazing producer......but not gym material I would say, unless your a big enthusiast.

Paul has a completely different version of it. Different singer, track...everything. Much better than the 4 strings version. Although, I heard a song called "sunrise" from them that i can't find anywhere on the net. Really pissed me off cuz it's good. Heard it on the Di.Fm station

It takes some special progression work and track selection for a progressive house cd to work well in the gym. I am currently working on a relatively interesting series called Grilled Sessions which focuses solely on prog. house.

Without a doubt though nothing is better then trance for the gym and running though.

I did a mix for my brother a few weeks back that a combination of songs from other mixes I have done.

Psychotron - my favorites are the Vocals vol. 1-4, I can't stop listening to them they're so bad ass for working out. Would you classify that as Trance music? And what about the cant stop ravin volumes?

The Vocals series are all trance.

CSR series is for the most part all trance, though I did those so long ago it's hard to classify them to todays standards. I combinded a lot of hardstyle, hard trance and trance in those.

I should be doing a Vocals volume 5 by the way this christmas break.

Awesome man I'll be looking forward to it. Worked out with it the past 3 times I went to the gym and it definitely puts me in the zone!!

What are some other DJ's that you could recommend for vocals trance like that? I'm not really a fan of the electro, and I listen to some DJ Tiesto and I didn't really like that either.

Dj Doboy is hit or miss on his Vocal series, he tends to throw in a lot of cheesy songs which I pretty much hate.

Good vocal trance songs are far a few between, so it takes me a while just to collect ones that are energetic but stimulating with the lyrics. I usually end up throwing in some vocals into my regular mixes. However, Vegas Knight Disc 1 in my post 2 above this has a few nice vocal songs in the middle, and one I am sure youve heard before.

dj doboy is a pretty decent vocal dj. 4 and 24 of his vocal sets are not too bad. but yeah cheez alert. depends on my mood really. just google him if you really want the vocal. i'll try and think of others. plenty trancey vocals just slips your mind when someone requests 'em you know?

they are megaupload links. so look for the 3 letters you enter into the box and then hit "Download". it should take about a minute before your download actually is ready to go.

once it finishes counting down the minute it will say "free download" click that and then it should start downloading.
