i've been to 2 toronto pride events...

it's difficult for me, because I don't identify what i see there.

there is the good - Nova vita womens shelters, kids help phone, AIDS walk, and others. but they are under represented in comparison to the crazy stuff that hits the papers...

i don't think i'll be going to pride this year, thing is - carl lives half a block away from the gay area in toronto...so i think he'll be coming to niagara that weekend

my partner carl was worried at first - about the negatives, etc... i used to suffer from depression and real bad mood swings. when i did 15 weeks of test, it changed me completely. about 4 weeks in, he noticed a good improvement in my attitude and energy... then when i came off, after 2 months - he was like "hell, i'll buy you gear - you were better on it" :P (bloodwork shows i have low test, but my dr wont do shit all for me...so i got a referral to an endocrinologist in 2 months.. :\)

he gives me my shots. (he's an RN)

edit: i know it's a cardinal sin to tell your significant other about gear. carl isnt a psycho. hell, in 3 1/2 yrs, we havnt even had ONE single argument or disagreement.....

don't do it! if you think he's not cool with it, it will cause problems. and when you get into any small arguments... "it's cuz of the gear!"

i was lucky with carl when i told him. but he went online and did as much research as he can. (he even did a lot of reading on this forum, and the profiles). he also talked to a very close friend of his, who is a dr.

we all know gays love ammo in an argument...telling him about your use, may give him huge ammo during arguments or if shit hits the fan (though, i hope it never does).

it's good to see a very down to earth forum...

They have some serious Gay pride events here in Vermont my Gay friends... Always having parades and rallies and people up here are no way near as judgemental as they are in NY. You guys should come here sometime this summer. I will talk to my buddy gay Mike and find out when they are having another event if you want.
