I dunno that just makes me think... I am Not in Hard... and I am not in CUT... because I can not see my abs.. but I have more muscle definition than the Hard.. a lot more...

I dunno.. this article just stresses me out and pegs me with the situation I dont want to face...

The fact that I am gonna need surgery for stomach region for being so FAT at some point because.. I PRETTY MUCH LOOK LIKE THE CUT DUDE except for the fact I have extra skin that hangs down... ugh..

I do not want to have to go through that kind of cosmetic surgery.. it's BS !! I would have to take at least 2 months off from training...

I JUST FVCKING WISH IT WOULD GO AWAY !!!!

if only everyone had the same body composition a thread like this would really work. But 12% on one person can look nothing like 12% on another.....

I have not found that to be the case, 12% looks pretty much the same on everybody. The one exception I will concede is with gender, a female at 12% will look much leaner than a male at 12%.

Bump...I know its very old, but I have been searching for this thread for a LONG time now. It's great to reference when you're starting/ending a cut.

Going to have to agree that the bf% numbers are understated. According to the pics I would be 12% at "cut" and I'm pretty damn sure I'm not that low... considering that I haven't done a cutting cycle in years... hahaha

^^Staying at 12% bodyfat doesnt require running a cutting cycle. That is something nearly everyone should be able to maintain with nothing more than a sensible diet and a little bit of cardio.

Just saw this thread, really liked it. I am always wondering where my body fat is, since I am 55 my fat is distributed different than most of the younger guys in the pictures. I have lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of muscle in the past 2 years I tend to have a lot more left over fat in the gut area (can probably pinch 1.5" between my thumb and forefinger) yet I have slight striations in my shoulders and have a great outline of my triceps. So it’s really hard to get a good idea on an honest number. One thing I liked was the full house picture of Lee Priest, hell if he can go from that to his contest shape in 6 months, I should be able to get rid of this belly jelly in another year of training and dieting.

Fireguy just curious how old you are? and what % bf you carried in your avatar picture?
