My local costco sells breasts for 2.99 / lb for 12 breasts. It is really nice b/c these are already separated into bags with 2 breasts per bag. All 6 bags are connected with perforations between them, so when I get home I separate the bags and throw some in the freezer and keep some out for my week's cooking.

I am sure there is a slight cost for this convenience, but it is worth it to me, and 2.99 is a pretty good price for these things.

Buy a six pack and go to the closest Tysons plant. Give the six pack to an employee there. Make a friend, get a discount.

Seriously..... I have a family member that works at a Tyson plant. She gets me 20lb boxes of chicken breast for $21.00

Yeah, I go to Sam's Club. They have like 6lb bags for pretty cheap. My wife normally buys five or six of them for me at a time, along with a bunch of gallons of milk. It is the cheapest place to buy food when you eat like a horse (me).

I go to a local amish community and buy whole chickens myself. As far as my other protien sources most are taken by me through hunting or fishing.

I should renew my Sams Club card. I love chicken! Used to hate it until I started working out, but now I eat it everyday.

mn_fighter, love the new avy. I am a big fan of Hank I and II, just started listening to III. Are you a big hunter? I used to love hunting quail and pheasant. Never been much into still-hunting like deer and turkey, I just can't sit still that long

Never been a huge hank jr fan, he kinda sold out in my opinion esp later in his career. As far as Hank 3 goes, I first started listening to him him in super joint ritual. Then outlaw risin(worst cd) he made. However his straight to hell cd imo is amazing and even out did his new out damn right rebel proud. Hunting yes I do a ton of hunting and fishing. Whitetail, mule deer, pronghorn, black bear our a yearly thing most of the time (dont always get a chance to hunt pronghorn). I turkey hunt in southeastern minn, avid grouse, duck and pheasent. Pronghorn is always rifle, Bear I have taken with bow and rifle. Whitetail I have taken with bow muzzleloader and rifle. In the winter I do some predator calling but not that much this year becouse of fur prices. Fishing is mostly walleye, channel cat, northern. I do some junk fish spearing in the spring i.e sucker, bullhead. I do get a chance to do some smallmouth fishing when I head up to lake of the woods. But largely I target cats, walleye and northern.
