For me once I stopped the weekend drinking is when I was able to start making fast improvements and take myself to the next level (still got another couple of levels to go

Just depends on your goals and how far you want to take your physique. If you're for real about getting to the next level then every opportunity should be use for growth and recovery.
I still go out I just chose not to drink and when I do its on a rare occasion, birthday, new years. My goals are set to high and I don't want anything slow me down cause it will and for me just weekend drinking slows me down BIG TIME. I'm talking BIG TIME.
Just depends, I'd continue but then I'd catch heat cause of who I believe should be juicing or not
